CAFS to assist business with gambling policy
Child and Family Service Ballarat Inc. (CAFS) has received funding from the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation to develop resources that promote responsible gambling in local business.
CAFS will use the funding to develop resources including a multi-media presentation and tool kit designed to help employers understand the impacts gambling can have on the workplace and establish a workplace policy focused on responsible gambling.
CAFS CEO Allan Joy said “CAFS is delighted to be able to work with local business to assist them to prevent and reduce gambling related harm. We greatly appreciate the funding provided by the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation”.
Local businesses and organisations interested in developing a responsible workplace gambling policy are encouraged to contact the Gambler’s Help project team on 03 5337 3333. CAFS Gambler’s Help project team will complete the project by June 2017.
