CAFS will be launching a range of resources to assist local businesses in reducing harm from gambling in the workplace.  The resources are designed to help employers understand the impacts gambling can have on the workplace and provides practical tips for employers – such as establishing a workplace policy on gambling.

The resources were developed with funding through the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation’s Local Prevention Grants Program, which aims to prevent and reduce harm from gambling across Victoria.

The launch will be held at CAFS office, 115 Lydiard Street North, Ballarat, at 2:00pm on Tuesday 16th May and will include speakers from the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation and CAFS.  The speakers will be discussing how businesses can reduce harm from gambling and promote a healthy workplace environment.

Local businesses and organisations interested in developing a responsible workplace gambling policy or attending the launch event are encouraged to contact the Gambler’s Help project team on 03 5337 3333.
